Nigeria is a
country blessed with rich, natural, and beautiful places and potentials. Some
at this includes historical monuments, beautiful tourist sights just like, the
Gembo Hills and whether, in Taraba State, the Gurara water falls in Niger
State, the Obudu cattle ranch in Calabar, the Anibilla Hills and Ikoyogen
cattle ranch, in Benue State, amongs many others, which has over the years been
a sight of attraction to many.
Which after the creation of this
states in Nigeria has become a sight in which many people will like to explore.
Tourism is now one of the world’s
largest industries and one of the fastest growing economic sectors. For many
countries tourism is seen as a main instrument for regional development.
Tourism on it’s own may have positive economic impact on the balance of the
economy of a country.
The main priority to why some
countries take tourism serious is that it contributes to high development and
even foreign exchange earnings.
There is a need for Nigeria’s to see
tourism as a means for economic
development in Nigeria, that can be done only if we begin to see that we
have been blessed by God, and if the government begin to see tourism as a
blessing, they would publicize it amongs other countries, and people from other
part of the world will begin to see Nigeria as a place to relax or visit for
Holidays.
Some of the
things the government must look who are internationally tourism has grown
substantially in recent times with technological improvement using standard and
broader processes of globalization leading to rapid increased investors.
If we do not
realize what we have or even value what we have, others won’t also value it.
This sector
demands attention no doubt to sustain and maintain it’s development and
patronage.
